Less Time Lost to Technology Problems

Managed IT Services in Portsmouth, NH Should Support the Business, Not Distract From It

When support is fragmented, the cost is larger than a broken computer. Employees lose time, leaders get pulled into technical decisions, recurring issues remain unresolved, and no one has a dependable view of what needs attention next.

Geek To You Technology provides ongoing IT support, monitoring, management, and planning for Portsmouth and Seacoast organizations. We learn how your team works, document the agreed service relationship, and connect technology decisions to the organization you are running. The goal is reliable day-to-day support, fewer avoidable interruptions, and a practical plan for what comes next.

Defined services

What's Included in Managed IT Services

The services included in each Managed IT plan are documented in the applicable Order.

Scope before assumptions

Your Managed IT plan should make it clear what is included, who is responsible, and what may require separate approval. Depending on the agreed scope, services may include help desk support, monitoring, maintenance, administration, reviews, and third-party coordination. Specific services and fees are documented in your Order.

The included services are defined by the plan and the applicable Order.

  1. Help desk support
Assistance with covered day-to-day technology problems during normal business hours.
  2. Remote and on-site support
Remote troubleshooting whenever practical, with on-site assistance available when a covered issue cannot be resolved remotely.
  3. Systems and network monitoring
Monitoring of covered technology with alerts handled according to the selected plan and documented responsibilities.
  4. Proactive maintenance and patching
Routine maintenance, device management, and Microsoft Windows patch management for covered systems.
  5. Technology administration
Ongoing management of the covered computers, systems, accounts, and network components identified in the Order.
  6. Technology reviews and planning
Practical recommendations tied to business priorities, aging equipment, staffing changes, and future needs.
  7. Third-party technology coordination

Who Managed IT Services Are For

Geek To You Technology's Managed IT Services are designed for Portsmouth and Seacoast organizations with approximately 5 to 75 managed computers that depend on technology for daily operations.

Approximately

5-75 Managed computers

This service may be a good fit when:

  • Your organization does not have a full internal IT department.
  • Technology problems are consuming time that leadership and staff need for their actual work.
  • Employees need a consistent support process instead of relying on informal fixes or multiple vendors.
  • Aging systems, staffing changes, growth, or a new location are creating decisions that need planning.
  • Leadership wants a clearer understanding of the environment, current priorities, and future technology needs.
  • You want recurring services, responsibilities, and costs documented before work begins.

Working with your existing team

If you have internal IT staff, Geek To You can work alongside them through a separately defined co-managed arrangement. Roles, access, communication, change management, and escalation are documented so both teams know who owns what.

Frequently asked questions

Clear answers before you decide what fits.

How much do Managed IT Services cost?

Pricing depends on the number of covered users, devices, locations, systems, and services. After a discovery conversation and, when appropriate, a technology assessment, Geek To You documents the recommended scope and monthly service fee in an Order. Equipment, licenses, projects, after-hours support, and certain on-site work may be priced separately.

How quickly will our employees receive support?

Requests are handled according to urgency, business impact, and the service commitments documented in your Order. Help desk support is available during normal business hours. After-hours assistance is intended for critical system outages and may involve additional fees. Remote support is used whenever practical, with on-site assistance when the issue requires it.

What happens when we switch to Geek To You?

The transition begins with discovery and review of the current environment. Geek To You then organizes the agreed scope, priorities, known concerns, stakeholders, access, communication preferences, and onboarding work. Your organization receives clear contacts, expectations, milestones, and responsibilities based on the size and condition of the environment.

Is every technology service included in the monthly fee?

No. Only the products and services identified in your Order are included. Major implementations, office moves, equipment replacements, advanced incident response, software development, and other projects may require separate approval and fees. Clear service boundaries help you understand what is included and when separate approval or fees may be needed.

Does Managed IT include cybersecurity?

Managed IT may include selected security capabilities when they are specifically listed in the plan and Order. Managed Cybersecurity has a different purpose and may include identity protection, endpoint and email security, threat monitoring, security awareness, dark web monitoring, and related controls. Geek To You will explain which protections are included and which should be scoped separately.

Can Geek To You work with our internal IT employee or team?

Yes. A co-managed arrangement can divide responsibilities between your internal team and Geek To You. The arrangement should define access, communication, change management, escalation, and responsibility for each system so work is not duplicated or overlooked.
